Thia Megia is not your average 15-year old Filipino American. She has the potential to be the very next American Idol. This resident of Tracy, CA traveled all the way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to audition on American Idol. Thia won herself a golden ticket to Hollywood after her impressive performance of Chasing Pavements by Adele.
Although she is no stranger to these type of contests (she has also appeared on America’s Got Talent), Thia has shown a passion and motivation to continue pursuing her dreams of being a musical artist. Even if she doesn’t win this year’s competition, the exposure from the show will definitely get her recognized by someone big in the music industry.
