You know you’re on TOP of your fashion game when America’s Next Top Model Hostess, Tyra Banks, picks up your design from that rack. The one person that knows this is Filipino Designer Francis Libiran. During an annual charity event, Supermodel Tyra Banks strutted her stuff at the red carpet of the 2012 Blossom Ball in New York City, seen in a no less than a glamorous strapless, black and grey chiffon gown.
FROM CONCRETE BUILDINGS TO PATTERN MAKING. Libiran didn’t start out as a Fashion Designer, he majored in Architecture but that practice didn’t last long when he answered his calling—into the Fashion World. Libiran explains in an interview that his design that Banks wore was inspired by architectural lines like that of a high-rise building, which define the size, shape, and figure of anything that requires the need for it. This promising designer offers a beautiful and unique couture for bridal dresses as well. Also known for men’s formal wear, his designs never fail to make a man look amazing and classy.
THE FASHION CHALLENGE. Getting your designs noticed is one of the biggest hurdles to overcome in an extremely competitive industry. But with natural talent and exceptional designs, Libiran quickly came into light, making him an A-lister for celebrities in the Philippines. Being an artistic and an imaginative person combined, made a totally different plane for him. With his masterful use of architectural formula, it is sure to create a rather distinct charisma and appeal to all fashionistas out there.
