To honor the life of Chester Bennington, fellow band members of Linkin Park have released an emotional yet beautiful video for “One More light” that features clips of Chester and the rest of the band members throughout the years.
Apparently the song “One More Light” wasn’t intended to be a single, but after Chester’s death, fans became gravitated to the words and song.
“One More Light” was written with the “intention of sending love to those who lost someone,” Mike Shinoda said in a statement. “We now find ourselves on the receiving end.”
“It has been incredibly emotional to work on this, and especially to watch it,” says Joe Hahn. “I feel that by doing this, we not only faced some of our biggest fears, but it enabled us to use our talents to bring some light to people who need it. As we move forward into the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people who connect with the band, outside and inside our circle. This video is really a gesture of good will to the men and women who need that connection.”
RIP to the rock legend Chester Bennington.
