The “family” has officially extended over to Thailand too. Much love, Vinh Diesel!
The internet has gone crazy over photos of a Thai man in 2019 for his uncanny resemblance to Hollywood actor Vin Diesel from the “Fast and Furious” movie series and other well-known films.
Several photos have surfaced on the Thai man’s page who is known as อาทิตย์ โมดิฟาย but one definitely caught the attention of Facebook users. Some photos were simply a bald man behind the steering wheel, in a white T-shirt and the iconic cross necklace.
The outfit similar to what “Dominic Toretto” wears in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.
While the photo was uploaded without a caption or context, it has since gone viral, with over 100,000 shares as of now!
Some users have even taken the opportunity to comment on the similarities, with even one user commenting, “Vinh Diesel”. Many responded with laughter to the pun along with several other versions of Vin Diesel’s namesake.
The lookalike, who lives in Chiang Rai, has been aware of his resemblance to Diesel for a while and some even believe that the many photos and videos he uploads on Facebook pay tribute to the actor in one way or another.
In 2016, he even changed his Facebook cover photo to feature Diesel while in 2017 and 2018, it featured him in the same white T-shirt, and in similar poses to the actor in the Fast and Furious movies.
In 2021, the lookalike uploaded a photo of himself when he was younger, in what seems like a cosplay of Richard B. Riddick, Vin Diesel’s 2004 movie; The Chronicles of Riddick.
The lookalike is appreciative of the attention he’s received so far.
He thanked several fans and users for liking and sharing his photo, and even reshared a hilarious image where a fan photoshopped his face onto Diesel’s.
