One model that has recently caught our attention goes by the name of Nicole Kaleinani  Blades. She is definitely a model on the rise and deserves more recognition and fame. Now’s your chance to get up close and personal with Nicole in this exclusive interview.

You look like you’re making quite a name for yourself in the modeling industry. How did you first get into the game?
Well thank you for noticing. I started with helping a friend with a project at school. I some how became the example model for the photography class and that lead to photo shoots. From there I stared a portfolio and began shooting as much as I could. So it began. Lol
Being a model is something some parents may disapprove up. What do your parents think about you modeling?
They were happy when I got paid to model lol, but They are happy and proud of me. My parent re-post my work all the time on Facebook. Its funny when my dad tags himself in some of my pictures. They love taking credit for my looks. (Thank you Maaa & Dadda)
You look like you’re really fit and in shape. What’s your secret? Diet? Work out routines?
I WORK OUT! (LMFAO voice) lol. I love being active and working out. I am not one to be in the gym. I like to work out at home or outside. I started running more and I am always working on my legs and Abs. As far as diets go I don’t really have one. I love green tea, Sushi, tuna, chicken and I really like eggs. I am aware of what I eat but if I want something ill eat it. (Weak spot for white macadamian nut cookies from Mrs. Fields…Wink Wink)
What are some of your favorite TV shows that you loved watching growing up?
Lets see… Does any one remember One Saturday Morning? All those cartoons! I also watched Nick Jr. I did watch Barney, Pokemon, Strawberry Short Cake, Power Rangers, and Gula Gula Island lol, man the list goes on lol.
We all know that a modeling career doesn’t last forever. What are your plans after you’ve accomplished everything in this field?
I am so random in my other endeavor but owning my own restaurant is one. Acting or getting into more hosting would be another. I have a love for coaching kids so and that one in there lol.
Off the top of your head, what are your favorite name brands you love to wear?
*Oh let me think… Bebe for sure. I am in work out clothes a lot so Nike and Under Armor. My style is random so I like a little bit of everything.
When you aren’t modeling and in photo shoots, what else do you do during your free time?
I spend time with my family when I can. I also love to spend time with my girls. You could also find me in a batting cage getting yelled at by the workers for not wearing a helmet. ( what it messes up my hair sometimes)
We know that you’re Hawaiian, Chinese, and Irish. Which of the backgrounds come from which of your parents?
My dad is Hawaiian, Chinese, and Irish. My mom is Hawaiian, Chinese, some other white and Filipino. I’m a mix for sure lol.
We all love music. What are some of your favorite songs or artists from 2011?
I was loving a lot of the music this year. My favorite artist are The Weekend, Frank Ocean, Wale, Trey Songz, Drake, and I’m in love with Kid Cudi lol. I also got exposed to more house/trans/dubstep, so I started listening to more Tiesto, Benney Banassi, Kenneth Thomas, and like Swedish House Mafia. I got too many to name them all.
Tell us about some of your upcoming projects and plans for 2012.
2012 has some projects that show the other sides of me. I will have some videos coming out,my website will be coming out as well. There will be more shoots, more hosting, more everything!
