Young Money’s own TYGA which stands for Thank You God Always, is a rising star in the hip hop scene. With appearances on hit songs such as Bedrock and Dueces, TYGA has shown that he can be a key contributor when it comes to making a smash hit.
His song Dueces with Chris Brown is currently being nominated for the Best Rap/Song Collaboration award at this year’s 2011 Grammy’s.
Many people don’t know that TYGA aka Michael Stevenson is half Jamaican and half Vietnamese. He was signed by Lil Wayne’s record label Young Money in 2008 and has been grinding ever since.
Working with label mates Nicki Minaj and Drake is definitely helping him gain not just exposure but also a lot of experience. He is currently working on his next album entitled Careless World which is slated to be released in 2011.
