In almost every movie or film production there’s always some kind of special effects make up to help enhance a character or scene. In Syfy’s show “Face Offâ€, twelve contestants battle for a shot at the title of top special effects artist and a chance to win the grand prize of $100,000 and a year’s supply of makeup.
This season has Face Off’s first Asian American contestant, Sue Lee. From New Jersey, Sue originally started off majoring in pre-med and fine arts, but eventually took the risk of following her dreams and began attending the Tom Savini Special Makeup Effects program. Sue specializes in prosthetics, animatronics, and sculpting. Check out her work and cheer her on every Wednesday at 10pm on the Syfy channel!
