It was a sad day in fashion history when news broke out about the passing of L.R.G. (Lifted Research Group) co-founder, 33, Jonas Bevacqua. LRG produces clothing and accessories, and also has been known to develop a broad range of products including electronic accessories, extreme vehicles, outdoor equipment including sporting goods and more.
The company is also involved in the promotion of underground recording artists and sponsors a skateboarding team. Entrepreneur magazine ranked the company at #5 on its 2007 Hot 500 list of fastest-growing companies and reported its 2006 sales figures at an estimated $150 million.
Bevacqua was a visionary and pioneer in the fashion industry. All of the hard work he has put into building LRG has inspired and motivated others worldwide. He paved the way for future entrepreneurs and showed that anything can be made possible in life if you truly put your mind to it.
Much respect and condolences go out to the entire LRG team and Bevacqua family. Thank you for doing what you did.
