LOUIS VUITTON will launch in July 2012 a collection in collaboration with the Japanese artist YAYOI KUSAMA.
Louis Vuitton has joined forces with Yayoi Kusama exhibitions that will see the artist making a set up for that brand’s New interconnection street Maison gallery space.
LV Director Marc Jacobs, famed for his adore and appreciation of artwork and has spoken before to about his admiration for Kusama, one of Japan’s most well-known elite modern artists.
Renowned for experimental projects that acquire nicely and suited toward conceptual Maison space. Her past creations have observed her production in enormous spaces, utilizing lumination and mirrors with recurring motifs, such as polka dots, balls and clouds.
