Will Kris Wu convince you to watch some American football? The NFL has recently confirmed and announced that Wu has been named as an official ambassador for the upcoming Super Bowl LII by NFL China.

NFL.com reports that the former KPOP EXO member will also perform at Verizon’s Super Bowl LIVE event. This is a a big, free, 10-day fan festival leading up to Super Bowl LII.
Wu’s performance is scheduled to take place on February 3rd, a day before the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.
“It is my pleasure to be named ambassador to one of the world’s most recognizable sports and entertainment events,” Kris said in an official statement.
“Thanks to the NFL and Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee for inviting me to join in the Super Bowl LIVE festivities leading up to the big game. I look forward to participating in Tencent’s coverage and sharing my gameday experience with fans around the world.”
According to NFL.com, the fan base for the sport has been rapidly growing in China, and Kris was selected as the ambassador due to his global popularity and large social media following.
