Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, the second movie in the “Maze Runner” trilogy by James Dashner, grossed an estimated $30.3 million, topping the domestic box office in its opening weekend.
In this action packed sequel, we see more of Korean-American actor, Ki Hong Lee (Minho), whose breakout role resulted from the Maze Runner franchise. The sequel also stars Dylan O’Brien, Kay Scodelario, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

With its diverse cast, The Scorch Trials was well received by minority audiences and abroad, grossing $26.8 million internationally.
