Did you catch American Idol last night? It was a chance for this season’s top 12 American Idol female contestants to step beneath the spotlight in the two-hour telecast. Only a few seized the moment to secure their spot as top five to make it to the next round.  This season’s diva-in-training, Jessica Sanchez was by far the best of the night (in my opinion). She blew away the crowd, the judges, and America in her rendition of “Love you I do” – a song performed by former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson for the 2006 film Dreamgirls. Judge Randy Jackson said “that voice is the voice to be reckon with in this whole competition… you are unbelievably talented” and Jennifer Lopez summed it up with “the whole thing is so way beyond your years – it’s crazy”!
American Idol predictions across the web have already placed Jessica as a lead in the top 10 – to be announced official after tonight’s episode. Keep tuning in as we update you on Jessica’s American Idol journey!
