On last week’s American Idol, we got to find out who was going to officially move into the American Idol mansion nestled pleasantly in the Hollywood Hills. Covering hits from Bill Joel’s song book, 9 out of the 10 remaining contestants made it through. Heejun Han and Jessica Sanchez made it through the elimination and are packing their bags for a major estate upgrade!
Heejun Han had a tough week the previous week and requested some advice on how to move forward.  His mentors advised him to use criticism to propel himself to be better. His rendition of “My Life,” surprised me with the fake start. I love Heejun, but I want to see more serious effort out of him. On a brighter note, it was nice to see him get up, move around, and dance! I’m only a bit worried that his sense of humor may get him in the hot seat this week again. Fingers crossed that America can take a laugh or two and not get tired of it all.

Jessica Sanchez was devastatingly close to perfection with “Everybody has a Dream,” and she looked great on top of it all. You really get the sense that she really wants this. I have no doubts that she would be lavishing up in her new pad for many more weeks to come! If I could have given her a perfect score, I would have added an extra point – or two! Check her out:

Regardless of what happens, there’s still a chance to watch either one of these singers live on stage when they hit the road on the 2012 American Idol Tour. Keep a look out for that!
