Jennifer Dao Will Make Your Neck Break

One model that has been getting a lot of attention and buzz comes from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jennifer Dao has been known to be that neck breaker and making guys fall head over heels. Q: You look like you’re making quite a name for yourself in the Minnesota modeling scene. How did you first get into the game?
A: Ahh, well I’ve only been in the industry for about 2 years or so now so I’m still pretty green to the scene in my eyes but I guess it started when a photographer (now friends), Mike Phetdara, had asked me to shoot with him and we ended up creating some great work together. The photos ended up getting some mad love on Tumblr and Facebook which caught the attention of Yuli Xenexai of Teaser by Yuli. She opened up most of my doors for me and it basically went on from there!

Q: Who are some of your biggest influences that inspire you today?
A: As always, even though it sounds a bit cliche, I’d say my mommy. She is by far the most beautiful, humble, and supportive person in my life. I can only hope to be a fraction of the great person she is. We’re best friends! Always by each other’s sides and never letting one or the other fall or back down. She’s my inspiration to keep moving forward with my life and career. Hell, we even look like sisters! Haha.

Q: You look like you’re really fit and in shape. What’s your secret? Diet? Work out routines?
A: Haha, why thank you, but to be honest, I don’t really work out and I most definitely do not have a diet. My new years resolution for 2012 was to eat healthier and not have junk food at all, but that basically lasted 1 day. (Chuckle) I can’t keep my hands off food. It’s a vice I suppose. The way to my heart is most definitely through my tummy.

Q: We all know that a modeling career doesn’t last forever. What are your plans after you’ve accomplished everything in this field?
A: Probably have a family, settle down, and travel the world with the ones I love the most. Traveling the world has always been one of my biggest ambitions in life and what’s better than to travel the world in the company of those you share your heart and soul with?

Q: What are your favorite name brands you love to wear?
A: Ahh, I actually don’t wear a lot of brand names. Usually just what I see and like that I think suits my style. You can’t describe your style or your personality in one word, so why do the same with one or two brands? I dabble in a little bit of everything.

Q: When you aren’t modeling and in photo shoots, what else do you do during your free time?
A: Cook! I love cooking and watching the food channel. Everything just looks so delicious, so I basically make everything I set my eyes on. When I really have free time, I like to play games. Battlefield 3 and Mortal Kombat have been my cuddle buddies lately.
