Can you give us a brief background of where you come from, your ethnicity, and how you got into modeling?
I was born in the Bay Area and I grew up in Tracy, California. I am Filipino. I actually got into modeling when I took a couple of head shots for a pageant I was accepted into. A lot of different photographers would contact me after they seen my portfolio and ever since then, I’ve been getting gigs.
Being from the Bay Area, what are some things you love most about it?
The Bay Area is so diverse and rich in culture. California, period is the best state to live in honestly. The weather, the people, and the food. I really can’t complain. 🙂
You must have worked with a lot of different photographers in your career. What are some of your top favorite photographers?
Everyone I’ve worked with so far has made every photo shoot memorable. I recently did a shoot with Andrew Ho and he was really fun and easy to work with. He is a real gentleman and knows how to make your girl a happy camper. He brought me the best sushi ever! Edison Ravelaz always has something creative up his sleeve. Vincent Gotti is one photographer that really helped break me out of my shell when I first started. De Ardenos has a lot of passion. Kirby knows how to do magic! And who else…John Agcaoili! He is amazing. His work shows it, trust me. I’m really looking forward to working with new photographers in L.A as well, such as, Rey Trejano, Randy Ly, and *crosses fingers* one day Charles Lucima.
Career wise, who are some of the most interesting people that you’ve met in 2011?
I’ve met a lot of people, famous or not. I’m glad that they are all from different cities and countries, because now, I can just hit them up if I’m in the area and we can party together!
If you had 1 week left to live, what are some things you would do?
I always make last minute decisions. If I feel like doing something, I usually just do it. I’m a professional money spender! I would have more money but I always want to spend it on trips, shopping sprees, and other people. If I’m having a good time, I make sure everyone else around me is having one too. I told all my friends that we were just going to blow through money this year on trips. Hawaii, Miami, Vegas, Philippines, and Thailand are the places I would need to go to before I croak.
Everyone has something physical about themselves that they’d like to improve. Is there anything you’d like to improve on yourself?
Yikes, I don’t know. Longer fingers.
Besides modeling, what other interests or passions do you have?
I love traveling and fashion. My parents wouldn’t let me go to fashion school, instead they wanted me to do nursing. I’m hoping modeling can open doors into the fashion world for me.
What is the wildest thing a fan has asked you?
Hahaha. I don’t know if I have fans yet. I get a lot of fetish requests. They kind of freak me out! But, one is some guy telling me to get on a webcam and he would western union me money to see me for 5 minutes.
Who is your current favorite actor in Hollywood?
Ken Jeong, “Leslie Chow”. The man who came from Duke University! Then he moved to LA to pursue acting. He is so funny, he is honestly my hero.
What type of cologne do you like on guys?
YSL and GIO for men. Definitely a turn on when guys smell good 🙂
What types of food do you enjoy eating?
Asian food is the best. TK, Pho, noodles, rice, and stir-fry. I like it when my food is fresh and has lots of vegetables.
What are some of the most interesting places you’ve traveled to? And where would you like to travel to?
I have been to the Philippines and I have been to India. India was a real eye-opener for me. I would really love to visit Greece, some parts of Europe, Bali, and more!
Can you let our readers know what’s next for you in 2012?
I am hoping that I can travel more and get into acting. Wish me luck!
