A bizarre car accident was filmed on video by a driver on a freeway. The driver who witnessed the incident was driving behind an 18 wheeler semi truck and filmed a driver’s car that was somehow smashed underneath the right side of the big rig.
In the video, you can see the girl waving for help as she was being dragged along by the truck after her car became stuck underneath it on a highway in Chicago.
Illinois State Police said Laylisha Gardner, 19, was driving north on Interstate 294 in Cook County at around 11:40am on Tuesday when she tried to change lanes and her car somehow got smashed between the semi-truck and the roadway.
The truck pulling along the black 2005 Honda Accord caused clouds of dust to rise from the road.
Nobody was injured or hurt in the incident. The truck driver Mohamed Yousif, 52, was initially unaware that he was dragging another vehicle under his big rig, but eventually pulled over to the side of the road safely.
