Glee’s, Sunshine Corazon, whose real name is Charice Pempengco, greets Manila in a wheelchair. Don’t be alarmed, the injury is not permanent; the international singer says she hurt her toe while skateboarding in Los Angeles last Christmas. She is back in the Philippines to celebrate her mother’s 40th birthday on January 14th.
Aside from her family visit, Charice has been quiet, while she finds some time to herself. She took a break from Twitter and performances in Asia after her father was murdered back in November 2011. Hopefully, after some healing and much needed family time, Charice will be back to performing in no time.
