How old were you when you first started to DJing & producing?
I was 16 when I was first introduced to producing music and about a year later I was introduced to DJing.
How did you get introduced to DJing & producing?
I took piano lessons as a child which sparked my curiosity in creating music. My cousin, Duy, who was a DJ introduced me to FL Studio. I began exploring into a variety of genres of music like breakbeats, trance, and electro. I experimented with different sounds and mixes.

Was being a DJ your career choice at first or was it a hobby had that sprung into a career?
DJing was a hobby that turned into a career. My passion for DJing and producing catchy beats & melodies was my drive for becoming the best at it. After getting my name out there by taking numerous gigs, I was introduced to so many other DJs that have inspired me. I’m definitely playing with the big boys now.
Who are some people that have inspired you in life and your career?
My brothers inspired me by showing me how hard you have to work to get what you want no matter how challenging or difficult the situation. Through the years I’ve met DJs like DJ Burnz and Special K, Trippy and Phatboi, Tinman and HHH, Stevie SO Fly, Mystik and Roonie G, that have advised me and inspired me to push my creativity to the max.
Do you have any other hobbies besides DJing & producing?
I love playing the piano & traveling. I like to try new things & places. I’m always open to more hobbies like filming & photography.
What are two things you cannot live without?
I cannot live without my iphone & laptop. I don’t leave the house without my phone & I do a lot of work on my computer. Gotta stay connected!
Being in the scene for so long now, what would you say has changed/learned about yourself?
I have learned that I have the endurance to push for doing what I love. Doing what you love is the greatest gift anyone can get. Everyone has a talent in his or her own way. You have to utilize what God has given you. It’s what you do with it; then you will start to inspire other people.
What are some tools or technology you utilize that helped you get to where you are today?
I would have to say it’s the computer & the internet. I started making music on computer software along with keyboard controllers. More specifically on the Internet, social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, & YouTube has connected people and music in a way that was never possible before. It’s a great way to connect & interact with fans.
If you weren’t a DJ, what do you picture yourself doing?
I would probably be a software developer because I am a very creative and innovative person. I can turn ideas into products.
Are there any tips or suggestions you can give to some artists that want to come up and succeed in the DJing & producing business?
Learn to perfect your craft. In music, there are no rules. Step out of your comfort zone and try something new & creative. Knowing the basics of music theory will take you far. Don’t let anyone discourage you from doing what you love.  If it’s your passion, go for it. Reach as many people as you can. Show the world who you really are through music.
