Remember the Bruno Mars scandal when the star was found in possession of cocaine in his Las Vegas hotel room? Good news: the felony charges have finally been dismissed.
For his case, the judge fined him $2,000 and ordered him to perform 200 hours of community service and eight hours of drug counseling. Not only did Bruno Mars complete all the requirements, he exceeded his amount of community service hours, says his attorney.
In 2010, Bruno was new to the scene, getting featured on hit songs such as “Billionaire†with Travie McCoy and “Nothing on You,†with B.o.B. Surprisingly, though, at that time, there was very little media attention centered around his story–at least in comparison to the scandals revolving around Tiger Woods and Lindsey Lohan of that same year.
Word of advice to Bruno Mars, you might want to lay low from now on. Although you may have been second hand news a few years ago, you’re big enough now to stir up quite the media frenzy for your bad boy antics. But we still love you ‘just the way you are.’
