With Jackie Chan defeating Tony Jaa by a narrow margin and advancing to the next round, we now focus on our last matchup of Round 1. This week we feature two young action stars Johnny Nguyen (The Rebel & Clash) and Ernie Reyes Jr. (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 & The Rundown). These two action fighters are fairly new to the game but bring a good amount of experience.
Johnny Nguyen practices Lien feng kwon (which was founded by his grandfather), Wushu, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, Aikido, and Vovinam. He played Toby Maguire’s stunt double in Spiderman 1 & 2 and is a rising star in martial arts action films. Ernie Reyes Jr. is also a well-seasoned martial artists that has studied Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Wushu. He has plenty of black belts and is known for his stunt work and agility in all his films.
So who will emerge victorious between these two seasoned action fighters? Will it be the man from Vietnam, Mr. Johnny Nguyen? Or will it be the Filipino sensation Ernie Reyes Jr?
