AMC’s EPIC American post-apocalyptic horror “The Walking Dead” television series is all over my social media feeds on Sunday nights. I have yet to jump on the band wagon as I am not a huge fan of anything zombie or “walkers” – as they’re called on the show. Just not my thing. On last week’s American Idol, we got to find out who was going to officially move into the American Idol mansion nestled pleasantly in the Hollywood Hills. Based on the trajectory of “Hunger Games” posts all over social media this past week, I was not surprised by the strong hold the movie had over the ticket office this weekend. I’m personally not too keen of young-adult book series that involve awkward vampires and diamond crusted skin, but I was actually pretty excited for this one. Partly due to it’s non-femme hype.
