He says:
How drown was started was I structured the lyrics and then I played the piano and I came up with a melody and I paired it. And after capturing it in song form, I presented it to Rule. One day he just came in and it was like… it was random. He just came into the studio and he asked me if I had anything and I told him I did, and I played drown and after I played it, that’s all she wrote, he liked it. After I played it for Rule he wanted to hear it more and more. I mean, this is the type of thing you got to be there for to actually get to see how Rule operates in the studio but, it’s pretty cool. He likes to live with the record and there is no pencil, there is no pad, there is, it’s just him. A lot of the times he’ll just jump straight into the booth, and the record would just be looping, and he’ll send you the signal and he’ll have a verse. Drown was actually like that. There was a big connection when it came to Drown. I always feel the connection when I listen to the record. It’s real, the lyrical content, it’s real, and it paints a decent and broad picture of the things that he actually goes through currently. I really don’t want to display the age of the song either. Cause if I did you guys would see how well he structured the song because of how old the record actually is. And people who hear it now can accept it as if it’s brand new. That’s how well he prepared it if you ask me. And it didn’t take him that long, I’m thinking three days for the three verses and yea that’s pretty much how drown came about.

I won’t often say this, but this Somong cat has got some vocals! Totally wasn’t expecting that!
Just started hearing about him. Sucks cause REAL singers are so gimmicky now and days and the only gimmick he has working for him is he’s asian. Other than that he’s 100% Real deal! Hope he makes his foot prints quickly. I love his sound!!!
