Many of you know exactly who Laidback Luke is, for those who don’t, prepare to get educated. Laidback Luke (real name Luke van Scheppingen) was born in Manila, Philippines and is a famous Dutch DJ and producer. He was voted #46 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list in 2008, before jumping to #27 in 2009 and jumping up 10 places in 2010.
While growing up in the Netherlands, he made a name for himself as a graffiti artist before turning to music. He has worked with several artists including David Guetta, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Lil Jon, Axwell, Steven Aoki and Junior Sanchez. He has performed all over Europe, North America, Japan, Ibiza and has fans throughout the entire world.
Luke recently performed at EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) in Las Vegas, Nevada and once again got the party rocking. He is definitely someone to keep an eye out for as you’ll be seeing Laidback Luke become a household name in no time.
