An old mind stuck in a youth's struggle. Allow me to share with you my aesthetics and palette. See ya soon.

Man oh man oh man. First thing I want to say is I love Andrew Kurchinski’s directing game. Dope cuts and pans, imagery, just everything. Next thing is if there ever was a reason I wasn’t a fan of the great DFD, I can now say confidently that I am. Dumb’s flow just cut through the air on this @EOM_ track. I can go on and break down every second of the video but I’ll leave that to your mind. Enjoy. “Cool and Calm” is a track off of the “DFD” album available on itunes heres: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/dfd/id474370842 Directed by: Andrew…

No one else could pull off a video of this grunge in 2012 besides Supreme thats for sure. The “Pizza Face” video follows a skater as psychedelic imagery is green-screened over his masked face. The Spring/Summer 2012 preview and lookbook is now available via Supreme. Here are a couple of my favorites.

So I am going to confidently assume that a large portion of readers are viewing this post via Mozilla’s web browser, Firefox. What I am also going to assume less confidently, is that not many of you know that a firefox is a real animal. “Firefox” is a nickname for the species Red Panda. The other day I came across this video that shows two twin Red Pandas living at the Maruyama Zoo in Hokkido, Japan. These things are absolutely adorable. The Red Panda is a small arboreal mammal that is native to southwestern China and the eastern Himalayas. The…

Jenny Suk and Adrian Per team up for a remix of one of my favorite songs, Elle Varner Ft. J Cole – Only Wanna Give It To You. This right here is dope. Jenny’s got an incredible voice and I’m diggin’ her outfit super hard on this one. Adrian definitely killed his verse too. Love the directing of the video itself and the playful acting. Bon Rappetite is the world’s first hip hop restaurant based out of Atlanta, GA. Bon Rappetite serves some of our favorite classic dishes from mushroom risotto to buffalo wings but what gives this restaurant “hip hop” and unique is the naming of the dishes. Mushroom risotto = “Mushroom RZAotto” and buffalo wings = “L’il Wangz”. Other dishes include: Big Boi-led Shrimp, Creme Puff Daddies, and Roastface Killah. Very interesting idea but will this be a success? Learn more about Bon Rappetite here.

Whilst most of the shorts attempt to appeal to reality, humor through truth, NigaHiga has come with my favorite kind of comedy, plain stupid genius. Simple concepts that are hilarious. I guaranteed that this won’t fail to please. I was laughing so hard I could barely talk even after the video just remembering the comedy. Keep up with Ryan! This is going to a more visual piece than anything but man, Vincent Bousserez is the dude for this one. A microworld amongst our own is imaged and photographed in his new photography book, “Plastic Life.” Vincent Bousserez places factory manufactured figures and surrounds them with real life settings that create ironic and poetic scenes. This is such a great series of macro photography.
