Arika first realized her dream of becoming a television journalist as a pre-teen, growing up watching E! News as her favorite TV show. After high school, she attended the University of California, San Diego where she received a double B.A. in Communications and Japanese Studies with Honors.
Graduating college in a quick span of three years, Arika returned to her true passionâ€”entertainmentâ€”and relocated back to Los Angeles. She has appeared on shows on MTV, Spike TV, HBO, CW and Starz. She also landed an internship at the premiere entertainment media outlet, E! News and worked in the production department developing current shows. She is currently working on her masterâ€™s degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California.
